Disposable garments constructed of breathable, lightweight cloth-like material with base fabric of hydro-entangled wood pulp and polyester. Flame-retardant treated. Fabric chars at temperatures below the ignition point, resulting in no flaming or molten drip. Generous sizing prevents rip-outs. White. Passes NFPA 701, 1989 and 1999 methods. NOTE: Fire retardant rating of PyroGuard coveralls is based on the NFPA 701 Small Scale Test Standard, commonly used to rate fire retardant qualities of disposable clothing. During an NFPA 701 small scale test, the material is hung vertically and subjected to flame for 12 seconds. The specimen is deemed to have passed if it self-extinguishes within two seconds once the ignition source is removed, the char length is less than 6.5 inches and it does not continue to burn after reaching the floor of the test chamber. On average an open flame will be about 2,000 degrees but can vary depending on the fuel.
